"Cannot recommend this place highly enough for a pitstop. Great food, coffee, staff, perfect view by the river and lots of trinkets for the kids to explore. Not far off the highway and perfectly quiet and serene. Great to pull up with a trailer out front. Plenty of easy street parking."

"Dropped into this slightly off the beaten track Cafe for an early arvo coffee and look at the village. An interesting place and I need to find out more about the "tree of thongs" whilst the "tree of knowledge" was quite amusing. If you are in the Clarence River region drop in."

"Oh my goodness they would have to do the best hot chips I've had. There are tables by the river you can sit at and enjoy your meal. Great little place with fast friendly service."

"A lovely place to have lunch in a quiet little spot only a few minutes off the highway. We enjoyed the milkshakes, hot chips, the kofta wrap and chicken caesar wrap. Lovely baked treats too. Generous serving sizes and wonderful friendly service, proper country hospitality. There are public toilets a couple of doors down, at the old church, and benches overlooking the river across the road if you prefer to eat outdoors. Don't forget to check out the garden gnome village and thong tree."
